Summer in Val Gardena
The house Iman is located in a quiet zone in the center of S. Cristina. The best starting point for hiking, mountain bike tours, climbing and nordic walking. You can leave the car in our parking space and explore the center of the town and the surrounding mountains on foot. Alternatively just sit back, relax and enjoy the view over the “Sassolungo" the largest and highest peak in Val Gardena.
From our house you can spot the wonderful waterfall Tervela. The river sources from the Sassolungo and crosses Monte Pana cascading a 50 meters for eventually merging in the Val Gardena river. The walk below the waterfall gives you a nice view on S. Cristina and our house.
Above our bed & breakfast on the route of the former Val Gardena railway there is a promenade called „La ferata de Gherdëina“. This gentle stroll with panoramic view is not to miss, because you will find several information boards with historical pictures, which explain the Val Gardena Railway history.
There are also many other things to explore, come and visit us and you will find out what the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site (named 2009) has to offer.
