Winter in the heart of the Dolomites
The house Iman is the right place to stay for ski lovers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers. The cable car “Saslong", the best starting point for all the ski circuits of Val Gardena and Dolomites Super Ski, is easily accessible on foot or by ski bus. In the evening the skis can be safely stored in our storage room and the ski boots in dryer provided.
Every year races of the Alpine World Cup will be held in Val Gardena. A super-G and a men downhill race will take place before Christmas weekend. The downhill race runs on the Saslong slope, whose start is at 2.249 m and finish at 1,410 meters. The whole route is 3446 m long and starts at Ciampinoi. A part of the race (Nucia and the Ciaslat zones) can be seen from our house.
Our bed & breakfast is located in the middle of the center of S. Cristina but still in a quiet position. The Christmas market is only a few steps away from our house. The lovely decorated wooden cottages with handcrafted Christmas items, Christmas cookies, glass and embroidery, Christmas cards, ceramics, porcelain and of course mulled wine and hot drinks conjure up a cozy Christmas atmosphere.
